Poor return journey from Brussels

I travelled to Brussels from London for work recently. It was my first journey in 12 months and I was understandably anxious. The journey to Brussels went very well and I was pleasantly surprised. However, this was not the case on the way back. The train was announced as boarding but then we all had to wait crowding too close together because of an unexplained delay. When boarding there was only one exit and again this made moving and keeping a safe distance impossible. There was hardly any food in the Business Premier Lounge and when we boarded we were told via an announcement (nobody bothered to explain in person) that there would be no food till Lille. When the train came to Lille someone simply ran through our carriage depositing small boxes of packed food. The content: a bottle of water, a most inedible sealed salad of tinned beans, sweet corn and grains, an equally inedible and very salty chicken pate and a fruit purée (babyfood). I was starving even before boarding the train as everything in Brussels was shut but this really did it for me. To crown it all, the train - the only train we can get a day (very inconvenient, I had to stay an extra night in Brussels because of this) was 21 minutes late because of a broken down train in front of us. There was no sign of any staff throughout the train journey. I found the return journey very disappointing. I also nearly missed my meeting in London because of the delay. A poor performance, no way to win our confidence back. And a sharp contrast to the journey from London.

Du au problème d’annulation des trains Nous nous retrouvons dans l’obligation de changer de train Ce qui est très facile dans l’application .. Et très bien organisé.. Auparavant, il était aussi facile de choisir les places Cependant, étant en business et payant full price , nous considérons ( surtout en voyageant à 2 ), qu’il est normal que vous nous redonniez le choix des places .. Merci de rétablir la possibilité ( qui existait auparavant) Ou de répondre aux appels .. Vos personnes au téléphone sont injoignables ... Bien à vous ..

Was removed to clear platform for in coming train and then not aloud to re enter the euro star terminal very disappointing and had to rebook train and hotel at my own cost
