No bells and whistles, but it works!

My employer recently deactivated its BES server, which required a transition from the old BlackBerry Workspace. I dragged my feet until the last minute when I absolutely had to switch. If I'd had known how simple and user friendly Zixone was, I'd have been one of the early adopters. It's a very low-key app that doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles. But it syncs my email quickly, notifies me of new messages, and has my calendar right at my fingerprints. Most importantly, it works! I'm going to leave, kicking and screaming, when we ultimately migrate to Microsoft's InTune.

Annoying

My work had changed our email to go through this app for security purpose, which I understand. However, this app has to be one of the worst that I have used to obtain email. Sometimes when I click on the app it crashes before I can even sign on or the sign on is stuck in limbo. At that point I have to force close the app and reopen it with the hopes that after the third or fourth time it will work. Sometimes the app will open, but there will be a blank page. So again, I have to force close the app and reopen and try from the beginning again. When it does open as it should and I can see my emails at times they won't open when I click on them, stuck in limbo and then finally download and show the message, or they will open and be blank. Attempting to delete them from the inbox page never works. They just pop right back up to the inbox. I have to manually go into each message and delete it. This app needs a serious update. Unfortunately I am unable to change to a different app due to this being a work email or I would have a long time ago

Overall positive, needs an update!

In general, this app does exactly what it sets out to do: emails are secure, easily searchable, the app downloads new emails immediately after entering your pin and the alerts are instant. However, it would be fantastic to have an update allowing for fingerprint secure sign in rather than 4-digit PIN. The calendar portion could also be greatly improved by being able to assign the categories set up on outlook already - not to mention, moving to month view almost always moves the calendar back to April. ? Finally, when I add an appointment via this app, later on my Outlook desktop calendar, it's loaded as a meeting request and rather than being able to "save changes," it asks you to 'send the invite with changes' (or something to that extent). Again, it is overall a great free app.

It's ok, buggy

If you edit or enter a new calendar entry often times it will enter it for the previous day instead. There's no indicator that you have new emails if your emails automatically go to different folders. There's no way to assign labels. There's no way to copy calendar entries to other days. So far the experience has been... meh
