Could use improvement

Having to sign in every time to check the your schedule is a little bit of a hassle. The bus tracker lags and can be extremely inaccurate. Not having a tab for individual stops doesn't help. Being a freshman I have no idea where the buses go and to figure that out I have to activate the certain bus on the map and figure out if the bus stops by me. And by the me I figure out if there's a bus coming, it will have already passed.

Useful but Opportunity for Improvement

I'm a returning student to UConn and when I previously attended, this app wasn't available. I really appreciate the Events, Daily Digest, UConn Today (although I don't understand the different between "Today" and "Digest"), Athletics, the Bus Schedule, the Dining information, and WHUS. Three major suggestions: 1. Allow WHUS to continue playing when the app is minimized. I want to listen to it when I'm doing other things on my device. 2. Keep the Athletics section updated! The rosters are terribly out of date for some teams. I have the UConn CBS sports app because I can't rely on myUConn for accurate information on this subject. 3. Optimize for the larger iPhones! I have a 6 Plus and this app looks silly on it. If you can take advantage of these three suggestions then I'll change my review to five stars! Thank you!

Bad app

Although the app can be useful, the app glitches constantly and closes unexpectedly. It is very hard to use and is very poorly made.

Awful.

As a student at uconn I know that there are talented people who can make a good app. I don't know who made this but awful awful job. You have to sign in every time you want to use a feature that requires a netID & nearly anything you select redirects you to a webpage. It's frustrating, annoying, badly made & not worth anyone's time. I hope you consider having someone else redo the app considering it is a very helpful concept.

Too many bugs

The quality of life features aren't there. First, there's no "pull down" to update so you don't know if your bus time is up to date. The bus selection tool is from iOS 6. It's unnecessary to scroll through all 100 bus stops. If you click "back" you return to the very top of the bus list rather than your "original spot". The dining menu should display today's menu and should have a favorites option too. Lots of random bugs when navigating between modules.

Great, but...

Please add a feature to notify users when their favorited buses are arriving soon and/or nearby them.
Security Framework
Secure the data your app manages. Protect information and control access to your app.
Core Graphics
The Core Graphics framework is based on the Quartz advanced drawing engine. It provides low-level, lightweight 2D rendering with unmatched output fidelity. You use this framework to handle path-based drawing, transformations, color management, offscreen rendering, patterns, gradients and shadings, image data management, image creation, and image masking, as well as PDF document creation, display, and parsing.
Launch Services
macOS Launch Services is an API that enables a running app to open other apps or their document files, similar to the Finder or the Dock.Launch Services eliminates apps having to query the Finder to open an app, document, or URL for them. The macOS Finder itself uses Launch Services to perform such tasks. Because the Finder performs no additional processing beyond calling Launch Services, any client using Launch Services for these purposes behaves identically to the Finder.
System Configuration F...
This collection of documents describes the programming interfaces of the System Configuration framework. The System Configuration framework provides functions that determine the reachability of target hosts in both a synchronous and an asynchronous manner. It also provides error detection facilities.
Core Foundation Framework
Core Foundation is a framework that provides fundamental software services useful to application services, application environments, and to applications themselves. Core Foundation also provides abstractions for common data types, facilitates internationalization with Unicode string storage, and offers a suite of utilities such as plug-in support, XML property lists, URL resource access, and preferences.
Foundation Framework
The Foundation framework provides a base layer of functionality for apps and frameworks, including data storage and persistence, text processing, date and time calculations, sorting and filtering, and networking. The classes, protocols, and data types defined by Foundation are used throughout the macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS SDKs.
MobileCoreServices
Use uniform type identifier (UTI) information to create and manipulate data that can be exchanged between your app and other apps and services using MobileCoreServices.
Quartz Core Framework
Allow users to browse, edit, and save images, using slideshows and Core Image filters. The Quartz Composer API supports processing and rendering graphical data and allows developers to create custom patches for the Quartz Composer developer tool. ImageKit provides user interface support for browsing, editing, and saving images, showing slideshows, and browsing and previewing Core Image filters. PDFKit is a technology that allows applications to display and manipulate PDF documents.
Core Location Framework
The Core Location framework lets you determine the current location or heading associated with a device. The framework uses the available hardware to determine the user’s position and heading. You use the classes and protocols in this framework to configure and schedule the delivery of location and heading events. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
UIKit
The UIKit framework (UIKit.framework) provides the crucial infrastructure needed to construct and manage iOS apps. This framework provides the window and view architecture needed to manage an app’s user interface, the event handling infrastructure needed to respond to user input, and the app model needed to drive the main run loop and interact with the system.
