Trainerize is an online personal training platform that empowers fitness professionals and studios to better connect to their clients when training them online or in-person.

By combining both a trainer and client side experience, Trainerize allows fitness professionals to stay connected with their clients and manage their coaching business from their smartphones anytime, anywhere.

At the same time, Trainerize helps clients achieve their fitness goals by keeping them engaged with their trainers. Trainers help clients stay committed to their program through customized and comprehensive training plans and progress reports.

WHO CAN USE THE APP
Both fitness professionals and clients can use the app, however fitness professionals need an account to enable clients access to the app. Clients can only use the app if they are working with a trainer that uses Trainerize.

FEATURES FOR FITNESS PROFESSIONALS
- Build and deliver customized training plans built from workouts containing exercise pictures/videos for online and in-person fitness training
- Look up client training plans and progress stats, manage workout calendars, check clients in for workouts, and track current workouts
- Deliver meal plans or get access to professional meal planning tools right in the app
- Keep a full client contact list database and train them in-person at anytime
- Edit client workouts on the fly
- Add full client body stats including caliper body fat measurements
- Upload client progress photos
- Add new clients from the mobile app
- Message clients in real-time

It’s ok, but it’s not setup well and the videos only have sound on some.

2.5 stars - crashes frequently

This app crashes ALL the time- making it incredibly difficult when my trainer has me on fast paced intervals and those seconds really count! Wildly frustrating

Good but could be way better

This app is so buggy. It’s super frustrating when working out and the app freezes and then have to force close the app only to re open and work once then have to do it all over again for the next workout. Seems to be just when starting and ending a workout. Overall it does its job when connecting to MyFitnessPal and other functionality. Hopefully there’s fixes in the near future.

Needs another update

I was enjoying this app until recently. My trainers program he has set for me is not actually syncing to my account. He makes edits to my program to cater to the equipment I have available. It shows on his end that those edits are made, but they do not on my end. So I have to substitute all of the workouts. He can’t fix it because it’s correct on his end! It doesn’t help me to have to try and figure out what he wants me to substitute with! Please fix this ASAP!

Loved this app but it has become unusable recently as it crashes every two seconds. Uninstalling and reinstalling did not fix this
