Toronto District School Board
The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) is the largest and one of the most diverse school boards in Canada. We serve approximately 246,000 students in 583 schools throughout Toronto, and more than 140,000 life-long learners in our Adult and Continuing Education programs. The TDSBÕs Director Dr. John Malloy is supported by the Senior Team who is responsible for: ¥ serving our students and communities ¥ improving academic performance ¥ managing business services ¥ providing staff support ¥ operating and maintaining our buildings The Board is also supported by 22 publicly elected Trustees. Our Trustees work to ensure that all of our students realize their potential and succeed. They are advocates for education and are the voice of the public, ensuring all concerns are addressed.

Using web services, it generates simple walking directions to the nearest TDSB school relative to the device's location, as well as showing nearby schools (5km). It also marks school types for parents who wish to locate possible schools for their children or adults seeking continuing education. If you are searching for a specific school, a complete list is available for searching schools in alphabetical order.

Can't zoom, can't tap, ugly ui, useless, just stuck in there. Good concept tho

Good start but needs work

This app doesn't allow you to search for a school via address. Only allows you to find the school closest to your current gps location. It would be nice if the app provided info about the schools too.

We need more apps like this for Toronto!

Love the concept but here's the problem: links to school web pages need to be optimized for iPhone.

Needs a search option for school names. Otherwise simple and useful.

Great app but...

Needs a ttc function. Not always driving to other schools, especially when traveling with a team. Would be handy if recommended bus routes and bus numbers were given. Similar to the maps app.
