The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies is a group of conservatives and libertarians interested in the current state of the legal order. It is founded on the principles that the state exists to preserve freedom, that the separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution, and that it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what it should be. With this mobile app, the Society seeks both to promote an awareness of these principles and to further their application through its activities.

Note concerning the "Read Phone State and Identity" permission:
This permission is used to access your call logs in order to determine if your phone is on a call, which is helpful for two reasons. First, the app will know to mute any audio it may be playing if it can detect an incoming call. Second, the app can utilize a "call us" feature where simply pressing a link in the app will instruct your phone to call a phone number, such as our main office number. The Federalist Society does not use this permission to collect any personal information.
