The College Of Wooster
The College of Wooster is AmericaÕs premier college for mentored undergraduate research. Since 2002, U.S. News & World Report has asked college presidents and deans which colleges provide the best undergraduate research opportunities and senior capstone program. Only two have made both lists every year: Wooster and Princeton. The presidents and deans also ranked Wooster seventh among all liberal arts colleges in America where Òthe faculty has an unusually strong commitment to undergraduate teaching.Ó Founded in 1866, Wooster enrolls approximately 2,000 students, who choose from more than 50 academic programs in the sciences, humanities, business and the arts. Wooster offers an excellent, comprehensive liberal arts education, culminating in a rigorous senior project, in which each student works one-on-one with a faculty mentor to conceive, organize and complete a significant research project on a topic of the studentÕs own choosing. Through this distinctive program, every Wooster student develops abilities valued by employers and graduate schools alike: initiative, self-confidence, independent judgment, creative problem solving, and strong written and oral communication skills. Almost a third of WoosterÕs students play intercollegiate athletics, a third perform in at least on musical group, and a quarter are involved in theatre and the arts. Notable Wooster alumni include award-winning filmmakers Duncan Jones Õ95, director of Source Code and Moon, and J.C. Chandor Õ96, writer and director of Margin Call and All Is Lost; Jennifer Haverkamp Õ79, director of the Environmental Defense FundÕs international climate program; Donald Kohn Õ64, former vice chairman of the Federal Reserve; Laurie Kosanovich Õ94, general counsel for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; and Sangram Sisodia Õ77, director of the Center for Molecular Neurobiology at the University of Chicago.

Core Foundation Framework
Core Foundation is a framework that provides fundamental software services useful to application services, application environments, and to applications themselves. Core Foundation also provides abstractions for common data types, facilitates internationalization with Unicode string storage, and offers a suite of utilities such as plug-in support, XML property lists, URL resource access, and preferences.
Foundation Framework
The Foundation framework provides a base layer of functionality for apps and frameworks, including data storage and persistence, text processing, date and time calculations, sorting and filtering, and networking. The classes, protocols, and data types defined by Foundation are used throughout the macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS SDKs.
Launch Services
macOS Launch Services is an API that enables a running app to open other apps or their document files, similar to the Finder or the Dock.Launch Services eliminates apps having to query the Finder to open an app, document, or URL for them. The macOS Finder itself uses Launch Services to perform such tasks. Because the Finder performs no additional processing beyond calling Launch Services, any client using Launch Services for these purposes behaves identically to the Finder.
UIKit
The UIKit framework (UIKit.framework) provides the crucial infrastructure needed to construct and manage iOS apps. This framework provides the window and view architecture needed to manage an app’s user interface, the event handling infrastructure needed to respond to user input, and the app model needed to drive the main run loop and interact with the system.
