With a knack for identifying undiscovered talent, Surface is a cultural barometer of global style in all its forms, presenting the best of what’s to come in design.

Digital subscriptions are optional and include a one-month trial, after which you will be charged $14.99 for a full year. The one-time fee includes the free trial issue, plus all issues for a one-year period from the trial start date. Subscriptions are automatically renewed until canceled. Your credit card will automatically be charged for another subscription period (another year for annual subscribers) unless you change your subscription preferences in your account settings.

Effectively useless now

Latest version of app doesn't download magazine content. So can only read when connected to the internet - and not on planes/subways/etc.

Horrible experience

The app is barely functional. Even when I got it to download the magazines the app would lag on loading the pages. Flipping through each page takes at least 5 seconds, and sometimes it would freeze. This shows the publisher does not care about the digital experience.

App freezes up -- straight up broken

I'm so bummed out. This app is completely broken on iPad. Freezes up on the main page, can't access any issues. That's all she wrote.

This app no longer works, even when downloading again, it freezes on the first screen making it impossible to access your (paid for) issues.

Doesn't work

Not updated in over a year. Not compatible with iOS 9, nothing done about it. Great stuff.
