ServiceSeeking.com.au was born in February 2007 when founders, Jeremy Levitt and Oliver Pennington, decided there was a better way of getting jobs done. Instead of having to search and call for tradies who aren't interested in your work, why not create a website where available businesses called you rather than the other way around?
ServiceSeeking.com.au launched in October 2007 and since then, 2 million Australians have experienced the benefits of businesses competing for their work. Weêve also helped 120, 000 businesses find a steady stream of work and new clients.

Flawed
Cannot add photos of your job via app. Even photos which I have (painfully) posted on my advert via pc do not show up on the app. Pretty lame

Buggy
The idea of the app is good but there are problems with it:
1. The chat function - No one responds when you type a message in it to people quoting.
2. The feedback section for tradies - It picks up the first review and copies it to the others. In my case the first review was negative and it then copied it into the other tradies section. Luckily I saw that it was exactly the same for each otherwise I would have thought they all had bad reviews and not selected any of them.
3. Feedback Section - The guy I picked was a liar and shonky. I sent feedback but it was never put into the feedback section for that tradie. It appears that Serviceseek don't want to have bad reviews for their tradies as it would affect their revenue.

Super efficient
Used the app the first time, easy and efficient to get services. I prepared to spend money, but problem was solved over the phone by following the instructions of Chris from Rhein Electrical, saved both time and money.

No longer compatible with 4S
Not supporting an iPhone 4S running iOS 9 seems unnecessary for an app like this. Most other, far more complex, apps work just fine.

I couldn't install new update and getting this message on iPhone 5
"Compare quote from tradies is not compatible with this phone"
