It provides financial support to each organisation to run specific programs that will benefit Victorians. RACV also provides numerous one-off grants for community projects throughout the state. This app just drives you......

I cannot rate this app highly enough. It just blends information, photos,video etc in a smooth logical manner. All the articles are displayed and organized just like the paper magazine version and beautifully presented. Well done, a benchmark on how it should be done to other magazine apps.

iPad app a disaster to load

Great app

Love that I can take RoyalAuto with me wherever I go. it’s got heaps more in it than the paper magazine and I really enjoy the live Twitter feed. RoyalAuto has always been a good read and now there’s videos to accompany the stories too.

Very slow and cumbersome to use

Downloading an issue took ages (compared to The Age for example). Then after waiting for that it had to "install", then "load". I tried to time loading the current issue but it just crashed multiple times (iPad original). It also crashed frequently viewing the August 2014 issue. Responsiveness was very very sluggish. It wasn't obvious how to get back to the main menu It wasn't obvious to swipe down as well as sideways, and you shouldn't have to watch a training video first. ;) Overall it is way over-engineered. Those cute videos and fade ins just make it appallingly slow. Some pages just show a blank screen for about 3 seconds before the content displays. Check out other newspapers, guys, and see how it should be done. There is no point having fancy video ads and special effects if no-one can be bothered using it.

Core Location Framework
The Core Location framework lets you determine the current location or heading associated with a device. The framework uses the available hardware to determine the user’s position and heading. You use the classes and protocols in this framework to configure and schedule the delivery of location and heading events. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
