Annoyed

Your mobile app is not working. It keeps telling me 'transaction declined' when all I'm trying to do is log in. Plus it keeps asking me to answer security questions every time I log in. If it's not fixed I am going to stop using it. It's more of an inconvenience than a convenience anymore.

UX needs work.

1. Please put the username and login prompts on the same page. This is basic UX/UI design. 2. Please consider showing totals without logging in, like the Citibank app does. 3. Need to be able to make deposits and transfers from one application. 4. Please consider changing the skeumorphic design to reflect changes in design methodology. Great in-person experience, but the mobile app is lacking, and the design firm is clearly lagging behind the times. Looking forward to future changes.

Not up to par

If you like to do your banking on your phone, this is not the bank for you. Deposits need to be done on a separate app and viewing transactions is difficult at best. You cannot see future payments or pay a bill with ease. Hopefully they improve.

Tried using it for a bit but it crashes before I get anything done. New version is an improvement in style though.

Useful little app

The reviewers are way to harsh. I've found it to be very useful for checking account history, to see if a check cleared, deposits, transfers, etc. These options are accessed via the Menu button.

Shame on you Middlesex Savings!

I do love the bank as a whole, but their mobile area really shows an area of complete incompetence. They were late to the game compared to most banks in releasing a mobile app. I thought when they do release one, it will be fully cooked and great! It was like the creators of this app met in a room and thought about what the worst banking experience could be on a mobile device, and actually made it. At it’s face, the app is some kind of skin over the web interface and is not intuitive at all. My biggest complaint with this app is the security. I like strong passwords and this app forces you to use a 4 digit code that has no relation to your main website password. SERIOUSLY??? This is like locking every door in your house and leaving the window open. I keep thinking that the mobile team who created this disaster will be replaced and we will see a complete overhaul. Please Middlesex Savings, you are so much better than this. Mobile is huge, it should not be an after thought.
