Karmanos Cancer Institute, headquartered in Detroit, is the largest cancer research and provider network in Michigan and has 14 treatment locations. We are the only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center in metro Detroit and one of only 49 centers of its kind in the United States. We are considered among the nation's best cancer centers and the only center in Michigan solely dedicated to fighting cancer.
We care for approximately 14,000 new patients annually on a budget of $260 million. We are supported by 1,200 staff members, including nearly 300 faculty members, and thousands of volunteer and financial donors. This app allows a patient with cancer to enter in enter basic demographic information, such as employment status and type of insurance. Then, based on that information, the app provides the patient with an individualized list of treatment cost-related questions. The patient can then ask their physician or other healthcare providers these questions, which will help the patient gain information on treatment cost and potentially improve
treatment decisions.

Core Foundation Framework

Core Graphics
The Core Graphics framework is based on the Quartz advanced drawing engine. It provides low-level, lightweight 2D rendering with unmatched output fidelity. You use this framework to handle path-based drawing, transformations, color management, offscreen rendering, patterns, gradients and shadings, image data management, image creation, and image masking, as well as PDF document creation, display, and parsing.
Foundation Framework
The Foundation framework provides a base layer of functionality for apps and frameworks, including data storage and persistence, text processing, date and time calculations, sorting and filtering, and networking. The classes, protocols, and data types defined by Foundation are used throughout the macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS SDKs.
Launch Services
macOS Launch Services is an API that enables a running app to open other apps or their document files, similar to the Finder or the Dock.Launch Services eliminates apps having to query the Finder to open an app, document, or URL for them.
