Their card was declined at the hotel, can’t check in.

I’ve never written a review before in my life. However, I’m sitting in a lobby of a hotel unable to check-in because THEIR card was declined paying the hotel. My card to them has cleared and was paid in full with funds removed from my account. I can’t cancel my reservation and try and check-in with the hotel because according to Hotel Tonight, I would lose all of the money I’ve already paid because technically there are no refunds on cancellations. The clerk who is talking to them now, is negotiating with them saying, “well, you already took his money”. We’re just sitting here from a long drive, traveling under unexpected circumstances (family member has passed away). Terrible time to sit around in a lobby for over an hour. Apparently, they’re short on cash and I’m out of hundreds of dollars.

Not the same.

This app is very user friendly. The platform is designed to digest pertinent information helping to simplify your booking decision. It was therefore my main hotel booking app. However within recent years their variety of premium and Lux hotels have dwindled; with repetitive hotels making it less attractive to use.
