Description:

When approved for use in a clinical study, IQVIA Study Hub supports a patient’s clinical trial experience from start to finish by organizing trial activities, sending important reminders, and offering access to support staff – ultimately focused on making clinical trial participation easier and less time-consuming in one platform.

With the Study Hub app, you’ll be able to*:

• Interact with your study support team through chat
• View your study timeline and upcoming events
• Log e-diary entries when enabled for your study
• Complete telemedicine visits, if applicable to your study
• Access important trial documents
• Tap into 24/7 support

Study Hub may also securely collect data from certain approved connected devices used in your clinical trial. If the trial collects data from Apple Watch, Study Hub uses the Apple HealthKit to collect the necessary data.

*Please see your study’s consent documentation for study-specific uses of Study Hub.

Like the app? Have challenges or concerns you’d like to raise? IQVIA Study Hub developers greatly appreciate your honest reviews and feedback. We work continually on app enhancements and release regular updates to address user needs and make engaging in clinical research easier. If you have any specific questions or concerns related to your trial, please contact your Study Concierge.

Very Frustrating

This app is always frustrating but because it’s required by doctors for certain reasons there is no other option. Thanks a lot for annoying me once a week for the foreseeable future.

How can someone build an app this bad?

You figure these trial companies have lots of money, and would hire a top notch company to build a quality app. But no! Not in this case! They hire what must be complete idiots, who have no development experience at all, and ask them to create something so buggy and obtuse that it just boggles the mind that it even works at all. A 7 year old kid, with a book in hand, could build something better! And look, they’ve pushed out new versions several times, each one with more bugs and issues. I just don’t get it. Someone needs to get fired, and someone else needs to tell the trial companies to find new services. My trial company even TELLS new participants that the app is buggy and confusing, but they keep using it. Completely baffled here...

Horrible App

Straight up garbage. If a study asks you to use this app just leave the room it’s not worth it.

Poor

It’s a pity that this app is so poor. I expect the developer has been paid quite a bit for something that, for the end user, is barely functional. Notifications are broken. When an action is required - no notification. Receive a notification and open the app to see what action is required - nothing there. The process for submitting info (symptoms check etc) is ugly and confusing (that final and pointless submit button, that pointless window close message). For a look at a far superior app with similar functionality, have a look at the ZOE Covid symptoms app.

Really?

For something as important as tracking information on study participants, how about spending a couple of those Pharma dollars to make the app work right. Notifications due not work or clear, messaging is messed up, time zone issues.

Core Foundation Framework
Core Foundation is a framework that provides fundamental software services useful to application services, application environments, and to applications themselves. Core Foundation also provides abstractions for common data types, facilitates internationalization with Unicode string storage, and offers a suite of utilities such as plug-in support, XML property lists, URL resource access, and preferences.
Core Graphics
The Core Graphics framework is based on the Quartz advanced drawing engine. It provides low-level, lightweight 2D rendering with unmatched output fidelity. You use this framework to handle path-based drawing, transformations, color management, offscreen rendering, patterns, gradients and shadings, image data management, image creation, and image masking, as well as PDF document creation, display, and parsing.
Core Location Framework
The Core Location framework lets you determine the current location or heading associated with a device. The framework uses the available hardware to determine the user’s position and heading. You use the classes and protocols in this framework to configure and schedule the delivery of location and heading events. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
Foundation Framework
The Foundation framework provides a base layer of functionality for apps and frameworks, including data storage and persistence, text processing, date and time calculations, sorting and filtering, and networking. The classes, protocols, and data types defined by Foundation are used throughout the macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS SDKs.
Launch Services
macOS Launch Services is an API that enables a running app to open other apps or their document files, similar to the Finder or the Dock.Launch Services eliminates apps having to query the Finder to open an app, document, or URL for them. The macOS Finder itself uses Launch Services to perform such tasks. Because the Finder performs no additional processing beyond calling Launch Services, any client using Launch Services for these purposes behaves identically to the Finder.
MobileCoreServices
Use uniform type identifier (UTI) information to create and manipulate data that can be exchanged between your app and other apps and services using MobileCoreServices.
Quartz Core Framework
Allow users to browse, edit, and save images, using slideshows and Core Image filters. The Quartz Composer API supports processing and rendering graphical data and allows developers to create custom patches for the Quartz Composer developer tool. ImageKit provides user interface support for browsing, editing, and saving images, showing slideshows, and browsing and previewing Core Image filters. The UIKit framework (UIKit.framework) provides the crucial infrastructure needed to construct and manage iOS apps. This framework provides the window and view architecture needed to manage an app’s user interface, the event handling infrastructure needed to respond to user input, and the app model needed to drive the main run loop and interact with the system.
