The agent was very rude to many of the customers waiting in line to check in their baggage. I was waiting for a wheelchair and I witnessed the agent’s sarcasm and hostility. I strongly believe that if this agent cannot conduct herself in a professional manner perhaps she should find a new line of work that doesn’t include working with the public. She cannot work under stress. A lot of times, individuals working in this field don’t realize that the passengers are the ones who are paying their wages in this industry and that we as passengers should be treated with respect and not hostility. She was African American in her 30’s or early 40’s I listened to other elderly passengers next to me in wheelchairs question the agents ability to work with the airlines. My flight was boarding at 10:45 A.M on May 8, 2021. I took my luggage to the counter at 9:15 AM as I checked in the night before with special assistance, seating, carry on and baggage for both my husband and I. I waited over an hour to get wheelchair assistance to my gate and was not able to stop and buy snacks and drinks prior to boarding. I did not get to my gate until 11:00 AM. Plane was scheduled to leave at 11:19 AM. This flight was such a horrible experience and I am not someone who normally complains. I understand individuals have good and bad days but the agent was way out of line the way she approached passengers in a hostile manner, sarcasm and putting the passengers down especially when the kiosk read, “see agent”. In which a passenger told this agent but she ignored the passenger and started talking about passengers in front of other passengers. This agent definitely needs to be gone. It’s obvious that she doesn’t enjoy her job or working with the public. I highly doubt that this agent is grateful to be employed. I've had flight randomly disappear, customer service said that I canceled my flight when I never did. The app also quits frequently and says error and makes me start over. I had to start over three times to book my most recent flight. They are the only airline with a reasonably priced flight on the days that I need it. Otherwise I would've flown through someone else.
