It's basically a note app with a timer. It's buggy when creating your own recipes. You can't scroll once you start a timer. Allow me to share my recipient with others who use the app would be nice.

Update: Calling last year's update "tragic" is only a mild overstatement. After 12 months of manually updating apps (quite a learning experience!), I accidentally updated all apps. Now I have the unintuitive bright white version of Brew Control. I could reload a backup of the last good version, but to no avail. A "feature" of the major update is that you loose all custom ratios. This is a good example of how it's dangerous to rely on hobbyist developers. -1 star. Nov 2015: Alas! My go-to coffee ratio app has been remade into a garish cartoon that hurts my eyes. Thankfully I was able to turn off auto updates before my iPhone removed the old app. No doubt this version brings more features but its design is so misguided I will have to pass. I wish the developer well, but mostly I wish he’d get a UI design consultant. Previous: My daily companion for more than 4 years. Unlike a lot of iOS software, this app doesn't need much in the way of updates. It's amazing as it is. This is a great app for managing the preparation of just about every brewing method. The app has a great looking UI and works well. Recent improvements make an already great app better.

Really want sound and vibration support like the old version. A simple chime when the bloom in my presspot is done would be helpful

Best coffee app ever

This was my go to app for making all types of coffee. I was saddened when it wouldn't launch under iOS 9 and I needed to find an alternative. Today I was thrilled to discover it has been updated and refreshed to reflect the times. Don't let the Skeuomorphism holdouts scare you off. This app is still the most flexible and useful coffee app in the store. I would gladly pay for it again if I needed to. Worth every penny!

There's no alarm/pop up when the coffee is done now! Worse than a basic alarm clock - fix it please.
