The BFI is an internationally recognised cultural body and the lead organisation for film in the UK. We are a Government armÍs-length body and distributor of National Lottery funds for film. We serve a public role which covers the cultural, creative and economic aspects of film in the UK. The BFI delivers this role:

Founded in 1933, the BFI is a registered charity governed by Royal Charter. The BFI Board of Governors is chaired by Josh Berger CBE.
BFI2022, our strategic plan for film for 2017-2022, focuses on the future, with three core priorities to support Future Talent, Future Learning and Skills, and Future Audiences.
The new strategy builds on the successes and direction of our previous five-year plan - Film Forever (2012-2017).
In each area, there are significant policy, strategy and public affairs priorities. These include a new International strategy to embrace the work to support a smooth Brexit, launching and delivering a new skills strategy, a major commitment to diversity and opportunity with the stated aim of the BFI Diversity Standards being universally used by 2022, and a much more active role supporting and advocating for the Nations and regions.
The BFI is a registered charity governed by Royal Charter.

Simply terrible
The other negative reviews cover the problems with this app. It is a poorly developed platform.
I've spent two evenings trying to watch a movie I rented. Constant buffering makes for a frustrating experience. This is a great idea for movie buffs which as been poorly executed.
Cancelling my subscription after only 3 days.

So so so so bad!!!! Movies buffer (not my connection) and then stop playing all together...! We have just paid good money to watch a film that will not play through! You should be ashamed of yourself BFI!!! Maybe knowledge sharing with one of the big players in the streaming market will help you understand how this type of service should work! Honestly never again and I will of course warn other to save their cash and buy the film elsewhere - if it isn't showing else where ...wait until it is ...this is the worse service ever!!! ...clearly The BFI don't care as they haven't done anything to solve the problems their customers are complaining about and have been doing so for a long time!
