Does not work

It will not let you simply type labels. You can only import from an address book.

Useless at this point!

I have to agree with everyone else regarding this app. It's useless in it's current state. In addition to what every body else complained about my biggest complaint is the inability to select which label you want to print. Example - I used it to print 8 mailing labels. When I went to use the the same sheet of labels I wanted to start printing on the 9th label, sine the first 8 were already used. The app wouldn't let me start on label 9. I had to use a completely new sheet. This is useless!! Avery needs to invest a little more in app development if they want to stay relevant!

Quick and Easy labels from Contacts

RECOMMENDED!!! This app worked great for my purpose: to print a sheet of labels for mailed invitations to a birthday party. Based on some of the other reviews for this app, I first tried the other Avery Design & Print app. For my purpose, this app worked much better — faster, simpler, easier. The app uses one main window, unlike the Design & Print app where you move back and forth in panes that follow a workflow. In contrast, once you choose to Create a project, the Templates app asks you to pick an Avery product in the left pane and shows a template preview in the right pane. If you created a project previously, the app remembers it until you start a new project. In other words, I didn't lose my work when I exited the app to check email or launch another app. Picking contacts for the labels was easy — just tap on the Contact name and a check mark appears to the left of the name and the number of selected contacts increases on a counter at the top of the pane. Once all the Contacts are selected and if there are no changes to the template, then tapping the Preview button shows how the labels will look. At that point, the choices are to Save the project in your Avery account, Print the project to an AirPrint printer (I use Printopia and a Lantronix to make my older printers AirPrint compatible), or email the project as a PDF. I had no stability or reliability problems using this app. I didn't try all the features associated with Avery's many templates, but what I used worked as expected. While it could benefit from a few improvements suggested below, I am VERY PLEASED with it. In particular, this app allowed me to omit the Country field from the address portion of the label, a feature the Design & Print app lacks. As suggestions for Avery, it would be even easier if the app showed a preview of the Contact's address information before selecting the Contact, since I discovered some Contacts had incomplete or inconsistently formatted addresses. Or, provide the option to convert case on the addresses to ALL CAPS or Title Case. Even better, offer to convert label Zip Codes to Zip + 4 format if the extra 4 digits are missing from the Contact address.

Lousy app

This is a terrible app.no instructions, cannot print your own info must use contacts. I only wanted my own address and could only get it to print on one label. Could have done that with a pen. Don't bother with this app.
