The American Thoracic Society and its 15,000 healthcare professionals and scientists are dedicated to advancing lung, critical care, and sleep medicine around the world. Begun in 1905 as the American Sanatorium Association to fight tuberculosis, the ATS, today, is an international organization involved in research, advocacy, disease prevention, patient and professional education, and the development of evidence-based standards for patient care. ATS PAR is the patient interest organization of the American Thoracic Society. Through this unique partnership both groups advance their mutual goal of reducing the burden of pulmonary, critical care and sleep diseases. ATS journal app

Not a very good app, often doesn't load articles, is slow, and very buggy. ATS needs to work on it big time.

Can't see any of the actual manuscripts

New app has a major problem: it doesn't show any of the actual articles. I can only see Editorials, communications, essays, and opinion papers; but I can't see ANY of the originals articles in any of the issues starting March 15th. I've tried restarting, un/reinstalling, verified username/password, and nothing. Didn't have this problem with the previous app. Not much use if I can't access any of the papers. Another, more minor problem: every time I open a new issue, there's a message box that says "downloading, will be available shortly". Delay can be a few seconds or close to a minute. This happens on cell signal or wifi. It's mostly just an inconvenience, but content isn't so large or data-heavy that it should take that long to load.

Core Foundation Framework
Core Foundation is a framework that provides fundamental software services useful to application services, application environments, and to applications themselves. Core Foundation also provides abstractions for common data types, facilitates internationalization with Unicode string storage, and offers a suite of utilities such as plug-in support, XML property lists, URL resource access, and preferences.
Core Graphics
The Core Graphics framework is based on the Quartz advanced drawing engine. It provides low-level, lightweight 2D rendering with unmatched output fidelity. You use this framework to handle path-based drawing, transformations, color management, offscreen rendering, patterns, gradients and shadings, image data management, image creation, and image masking, as well as PDF document creation, display, and parsing.
Core Location Framework
The Core Location framework lets you determine the current location or heading associated with a device. The framework uses the available hardware to determine the user’s position and heading. You use the classes and protocols in this framework to configure and schedule the delivery of location and heading events. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
Core Telephony Framework
Use the Core Telephony framework to obtain information about a user’s home cellular service provider—that is, the provider with whom the user has an account. Carriers can use this information to write applications that provide services only for their own subscribers. You can also use this framework to obtain information about current cellular calls.
