As Connecticut College’s only student-run newspaper, The College Voice recruits a volunteer staff of students each semester to handle all aspects of the weekly publication: reporting, editing, ad sales, management, photography, layout, and design.
The newspaper publishes biweekly during Connecticut College’s fall and spring semesters. With a print run of 1,000 copies each week, The College Voice is distributed to over 30 locations on campus, as well as to off-campus subscribers and the board of trustees.
The College Voice is an editorially independent newspaper that aims to be a constructive, informed, and informative resource and outlet for the Connecticut College community. It encourages student curiosity, talent and self-expression that promotes diverse campus-wide dialogue, both in print and online. The College Voice writers and publications strive to always uphold journalistic ethics.
