  • Key Differentiator
Launched on the same day of Buccaneers’ head coach Greg Schiano had his introductory press conference in January of 2012, TheBayCave.com has grown and has seen several positive changes. Founder Gil Arcia set up TBC as a one stop spot for fans of all Tampa Bay Sports to get news information on the Buccaneers, Rays, and Lightning. In March of 2013, Gil was contacted by Scott Reynolds and Mark Cook of PewterReport.com to join their reputable media outlet as the third beat writer. After agreeing to join them, Gil covered Buccaneers training camp, practices, press conferences, and home games from July through November of the 2013 season. Gil has since returned full-time and has plans for TBC to be bigger and better than ever and has been re-branded for 100% coverage of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is also a member of the Pro Football Writers of America and is a Buccaneers Correspondent for 620WDAE.com. Due to it’s coverage and information shared, TheBayCave.com has had radio guest appearances and has been referenced on several sites: 96.7 The Champ The David Bauman Show on Sports Talk 1040AM Tampa and 1080AM Orlando The Charlie Bernstein Show on Sports Talk 1040AM Justin “The Commish” Pawlowski on 98.7 The Fan in Tampa Pro Football Zone Joe Bucs Fan PewterReport.com Bleacher Report ProFootballTalk.com (video post linked) SB Nation’s BucsNation.com Lakeland Ledger Pat Donovan on 620 WDAE
