Great Scripture Memory Aid

This app makes Scripture memory easy and accessible from anywhere! There are various study modes and once you "take the test", verses are automatically moved to a "Review" section for future practice. I'm thankful for an easy-to-use app that makes memorizing the Word of God easy!

Helpful, could be improved

I really like this app. I like the simplicity of the layout, and the fact that there aren'r ads. However, I wish the HCSB version would be added. I do like the fact you can add custom text from versions not included. Also it would be nice if there were a way to memorize multiple verses (passages) at once. Thank you!

Best overall verse memorization tool on the App Store

Pros: - the only tool that lets you pick a whole chapter and automatically breaks it into 1-2 verse chunks. This is critical for extended memory and no other app does it. - the only app that uses the timeless "index card" visual metaphor, a proven memorization technique - great review exercises - aesthetics are good; not embarrassingly "Internet Explorer from 1999" like some other icons and apps out there Room for improvement: - what's the hamburger icon on the top left start page do? It doesn't respond when I tap it - how about adding calendar goals? Then I could see if I was staying on track with extended memorization - I should be able to select my preferred version and not have to reselect it every time I add a passage

Want to like...

I want to like this app. Needs editable categories, and there is a problem when adding a verse from the NASB. When I add 1 John 5:11-12 from the NASB it adds the first line from verse 13 as well.

Close, but

Can sync with other devices now--great addition. It would be even better if verses could be grouped or categorized somehow. (Think along the lines of the Topical Memory System.) The current version is crash-prone on iPad 4, but it works well on iPhone 5s.
