Would be great if....

I would really appreciate this app, and the conveniences it could provide, if I could send them to my email like i should be able to. However, every time I try to send the clipped coupons, it says that there are some network issues and to try again later. I have tried several times every day for a week now to print the coupons I would like, but have received the same message. I would really like this app if I were able to print them.... Being able just to tap on he app and have coupons to browse immediately, and "clip" the ones I would like and print them would make coupon hunting simpler.

Grown-up I-phone "Game"/Money Saver!

SUMMARY = To say finding an awesome coupon is like opening that first present on Christmas morning is an understatement. You also can wipe away any guilt of downloading another APP on your phone since technically this could be labeled under productivity . Great thing is it's kind of fun for us couponaholics.. Next time someone tells you to put down your phone, you can politely reply… “Nah, I just saved $38.07 with GCN…what’s uppppp!” I love how now a lot of my couponing is right at my fingertips! Warning, it’s sort of like a game on your phone, but you're not wasting time so you don't feel bad playing with it!! LOVES = 1.BLACK AND GREEN THEME: When clipped, coupon turns red, like “hey, you already clipped that once, no need to clip it again!” Easy to read, simple and clean. 2.BOTTOM BAR ON AVAILABLE COUPONS AND MY COUPONS: Like how it lists dollar amount of the coupons you clipped and dollar amount of the coupons available. 3.PRINT COUPON BUTTON: Love that when you click the button the app sends your clipped coupons directly to email – This is wonderful, I compare it to the Staples EASY button, it’s clear for you to see (orange, large and in the middle) and when you press it, viola, hop on over to your inbox and you are ready to shop and save! 4.AVAILABLE COUPON PAGE INFO: I like how it lists the product, photo of the product and what the coupon is worth in the upper right hand corner. I don’t have to dig for information! EASY! 5.LISTS: Love that you can add pricing and quantity to see what your total bill would be, then add your coupons to see your savings. (Maybe if I stuck to this list, I would walk out of Target with less buyer’s remorse….cha ching!) 6. ABILITY TO SEARCH FOR STORES IN MY AREA/MY STORES: Although this doesn’t seem to work when I try, (See dislikes). It’s a great idea I know I would find handy. ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT/IDEAS: 1.CATEGORIES OR SHELVES ACCORDING TO TYPE OF COUPON: It would be great to have categories for coupons. To go one step further, the user could name and create these categories or “shelves.” This would allow the user to clip and place the coupons where they want to for example: I create a shelf called “Hellion Coupons (a.k.a – My precious 7.5 lb hellion-terror-shih-tzu’s food/toys/needs.)”. Anytime I see a dog coupon, I would clip and then it would prompt me to the shelf I want to put it on. When I’m done clipping, I can go to my shelves and print based on shelves…For those that don’t want that extra step, they can just default to “automatic printing” 2. CATEGORIES OR SHELVES ACCORDING TO “MY STORES” : Would be wonderful when you clip a coupon, the GCN app tells you what stores under MY STORES carries these products. At that point you could save it to your (user created) “Target” or “Roundy’s” shelf. Therefore, let’s say I know I’m going to Target, I can send my “Target shelf” to PRINT and take those coupons with me! Or easily stash them for my next trip! 3.PRICE COMPARISON: I feel like as I’m putting stuff in my cart I’m trying to remember if the product was less $$ here or the store I stopped at the day before…Eliminate with PRICE TRACKING. It would be great if you could integrate a system of logging prices of the items you have on your list and comparing them to similar or same items on other lists. After all, a penny saved, is a penny earned, or in my case, a penny saved is usually given to my nieces and nephews as incentives to behave). 4.PARTNERSHIPS WITH BRANDS: A way for you to partner with some brands would be to offer a link to their website where you could find more info about a certain product. Let’s say for example, I clip the Sundown Naturals coupon and I want to see what kind of vitamins they offer and an ingredient list, there we go, straight from this app I could hop on over to their site. One step further, their site could push you back to GCN App, for the instance where you are so pumped about the product, you want to clip, print and bee line to the store… DISLIKE: 1. If you want to comment, like or share it takes you to a different site. This means after I have to re-open the app to get back to where I was! 2. I love the idea that you can customize searching for stores and adding stores to MY STORES, however, it doesn’t seem to pick up stores at all (both when I allow GCN to use my location and when I manually enter a location). Once this glitch is fixed I would love to be able to put my favorite stores into MY STORES and see what happens! 3. It would be great if the coupons were scan-able right from your phone, I find myself doing this more and more and find stores doing this more and more too! Plus, you’re saving trees!

Great

I've been using the website for quite a while now, but the app is wonderful too. Makes it easy to select my coupons while watching tv in the living room, and then just clicking the email link to print when I go into my computer room.
